Old Hanada Family Fishing Hut

This was a temporary lodging and worksite for herring fishers first built over 100 years ago. The building also happens to be Japan's northernmost important cultural property. Along with Obira Nishinbanya Roadside Station, the fishing hut is always alive with visitors.
